Description
This painting spun out of a test I had done for an upcoming commission. I tested some old ebony wood stain on a small 8″ X 8″ wood panel to see if it would work well on my next piece. I dabbed a little onto my finger and smeared it around on the panel and it seemed like it was going to work fine. However, as I stared at the now wasted 8″ X 8″ panel, I felt bad, and decided to push the stain around a bit with my finger. As a result, this painting came out of it. It is wood stain, and acrylic paint on panel with necklace bead “sprinkles”. It is not part of my numbered series, it is simply a moment in time, done at the kitchen table in about 1 hour.
